Functional Program for the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI). The project is a replacement healthcare campus. Agnew Peckham Healthcare and Facility Planners engaged Scientia Architects for the programming of the 350,000 SF new research institute. The program included wet laboratories for Neurosciences, Regenerative Medicine, Cancer Therapeutics and Chronic Disease, and Cardiovascular research. Cores included a stem cell core, cell therapy manufacturing facility, cell imaging, biorepository, histology, bioinformatics and a Containment Level 3 lab. The Animal Facility program included rodent and small animal housing and support, a large animal behavioral core, pre-clinical imaging facility and surgical suite.
